It pisses me off that I have to make a moral vs financial decision for a damned piece of software! As well, it would cast an affirmative vote for their Arnold strategy. If I stay, the cost would be reasonable but I would be supporting Autodesk’s treatment of its customers. However, I have not found a software combination that offers the same functionality as the Suite at a better (or even similar) cost to my current Suite fees. I could move to alternatives such as Houdini, Modo, C4D, etc. If I were to give up on Autodesk now and later decide to jump back in, my annual cost would skyrocket to $2,500 per year.
